De Alblas is de nieuwe competitie stroef begonnen met een forse 3-0 nederlaag uit bij Herovina. Op het verlies viel niets af te dingen. De thuisclub toonde zich gretiger, scherper en uiterst effectief in de afronding. De Alblas, gehandicapt zonder de inbreng van het centrale verdedigingsduo Haverkamp/Schumacher en aanvaller Danny de Ruiter, wist met 0-0 de rust te halen.
